RCTAG – Interactive RC karting and remote-controlled car racing

RCTAG is a unique activity in Switzerland that reinvents karting with remote-controlled cars. More accessible and just as fun, this RC karting experience offers interactive races where strategy, precision and speed make the difference.

We have developed our own control motherboard. It manages both the vehicles and the checkpoint gates, allowing players to earn bonuses, similar to a well-known console racing game.

The advantage of this board is that it enables any remote-controlled car to be connected to Wi-Fi. We have also developed our own management software, allowing control over vehicle locking, speed, steering, collisions, boosts, and more.

Our vehicles are also equipped with an infrared system, enabling communication with the checkpoint gates and making the system highly scalable and flexible.

Checkpoint gates are a key component of the system. They are fully autonomous and operate on batteries (6 to 12 V). They can be placed throughout the track and allow various actions to be triggered at each pass, such as scoring points or activating bonuses.

They are equipped with a 360-degree rotatable display on top, providing real-time information to drivers about the gate status (open or closed).

Managing a fleet of RC vehicles requires a high level of precision. Each vehicle must be individually configurable, while also allowing for group management.

For this reason, IRTAG Sàrl has developed its own fleet management software for remote-controlled vehicles. This software enables both precise vehicle configuration and the launch of game sessions.

It is a unique tool designed to efficiently manage an entire fleet, suitable for children aged 8 and above as well as experienced adults.
